I've had these sitting in my office for some time, and haven't been able to find out much about them. Here are a few scans:

They were produced by Fleer, apparently in conjunction with Atelier (which I read went bankrupt shortly after these were produced, but that may not be accurate). The art is an oil-on-canvas and looks handdone, although I'm sure they aren't. They come in a folder with the LOA shown above.

Both the Madduxes (I have two) and the Ruth are numbered out of a limited edition of 100, and I also have two Garciaparras and a McGwire numbered the same. The others I have (Ripken, Sosa, Piazza x 2 and Chipper Jones x 2, plus a Lou Gehrig) are numbered out of 2,100.

I can see the pricing of what people have on eBay, and Worthpoint shows the larger editions generally fetching $15-20 each. Does anyone else have any more info on these, or has sold them in the past?

Thanks in advance!

I have purchased and sold them, they are nice pieces to be certain, nothing expensive like you have seen. I have bought a few in the 10-15 range and sold some in that exact range. If I remember correctly they were a box topper for a Fleer set at the time, obviously some rarer than others. I need to go back and check what set.
