2007-08 SPx Master Set - Flashback Fabrics

Not a whole lot to say here. Most of these were eBay purchases, but I definitely received some help from HI members. I only pulled two myself (Smith, Nystrom). Oddly, I pulled more autographed ones (3) in the 20 or so boxes I cracked.

Brief story on the Shanahan: I had acquired a damaged one from an eBay sale. However, the seller was nice, and I told him I'd pursue it with Upper Deck for a replacement. I sent the card in back in April. It took them a month to actually process the order, and they successfully lost it.

It's a good thing that in May, a Shanahan with an awesome swatch popped up so I could grab it for myself. This allows me to keep this set complete, regardless of Upper Deck's intentions to never send me back my cards! Jerks!

I'm also looking for upgrades for any double-white jersey card, especially the Nystrom.

One of the things that caught me funny was many of the players and teams were in sequence on the checklist (Isles, Rangers, Leafs). A quick look at the numbering scheme shows them alphabetized by first name, so just an amazing coincidence.

Where is the yellow on the Lafleur swatch coming from though?

It's event-used, which unfortunately can mean anything. I'm guessing some bizzaro alumni game.
