2008-09 UD Artifacts Checklist and Preview

Yes!!! Most people know this is my favourite every year, so time to stop buying the rest of this stuff and save up some money!! :)
 
I like the fact that all memorabilia cards are now /199 or less - no more /299's

Also you get one memorabilia that is a combo-player card in each box too...

Looking good! Nice to see Rookies and Auto-Facts updated a bit in design too...I can't wait!
 
"Up to 7 levels of regular set parallels complement this lineup"

Are they really using this as a selling point on their preview? The number of parallels in this set are the primary reason that I'm not a big fan of it. The number of Tundra Tandems repeat combinations of players from previous years don't help the product any either. Likely another year where I buy one box and a few stray packs.

It's one of the reasons I like chasing cards in this set. I like the look of all the parallels when they are together. :dance: Artifacts is the only stuff I have broken boxes and boxes of for the past 3 years.

Only problem, I'm still not finished any of those sets yet :| And of the 7 levels, the best I've got is 6 of them. Haven't, yet, gotten a 1 of 1.

I am sure he'll be in, much like JMFJ was a carry-over rookie from 06/07 to the 07/08 products.

I too am amped for him and maybe, hopefully, Drew Doughty, Thomas Hickey and Colten Teubert as redemptions if that get that early season 9 game cup o' coffee.:)

Heck, maybe Wayne Simmonds, Trevor Lewis, Oscar Moller or someone else will get an early call as well and it will be Kings bliss all year long!:D

This is true, Barrie helps me cross of most my "Never Seen Before" cards. :) Healthy competition is fun, even if you always lose. Its no lie, I get jealous every time Barrie shows off a Jack Johnson card I dont have. Im used to it.

I showed u a card u had never seen before! Found it on ebay and sent u the link on that crummy other site. Think you lost it though:owned:
 
Not bad for me...no base set Khabibulin. Only two Triple Khabibulin cards with KANE AND TOWES!!! Now I get to see what it is like to go against these collectors and not the Ruutu collectors. :|:|:|
 
Looks alright, maybe they shouldn't advertise a Malkin signature just yet. Unless they have him in a Ak Kazara jersey or what ever the heck that Russian team is.
