I'm not sure why Doughty and Mason are not /99's, if it is to give some decent non /99 pulls then that's not a bad idea.

They could have gone with 15 /99's instead, Neal and Sutter don't need to be there.

Not sure who's complaining about Boychuk as he's got a lot of potential offensively. If you don't follow the rookies really closely I guess there will always be complaints about the rookie classes, maybe I can get a couple steals due to lack of knowledge.

Agree on boychuk. he is going to be good.. my "oh joy" is trying to chase it! .. 2 /99 canes rookies.. yikes..

UD quality control for hockey is a bit crazy. You would think they would have a Superfan - who watches the league closely - review the checklists and card details. They could easily catch some of these mistakes that seem to slip through related to card errors, and then these tiering counts...

Oh lol ok, my bad. I thought it was a comment uttered by so many who tend to think there breaks suck when they don't get crosby or ovechkin.

lol I'm screwed, Boedker, Schenn and Frolik, all PC guys; all /99.

To me the Glacial Graphs are key too. As you get one/box, and they can help a sometimes painful box. Yet, they get guys like Raycroft (oh joy!), and Langway! (I know I'm gonna here from someone, who hopefully won't ban me!) Seriously, if they tightened up the Glacial Graphs a bit, and made them a decent hit per box. I think it would help the product a lot. It seems like they choose guys who they know will sign.

Why should players on cards limited to 1499, 999, or 499 necessarily be that much worse than what's on a card limited to 99?

I understand that every card limited to 99 should be regarded as a big hit, but that doesn't mean when a dude is limited to 499 or 999 that it can't be a great pull.

I'd definitely yank some players from those limited to 99, but I wouldn't necessarily put anything back in its place.

That's what I'm saying. It's why I'm relieved Doughty isn't a 99 here otherwise I'd be priced out for sure.

YES! doughty isnt a sp..woooooot!

6 more kings rookies for my project, 3 /499, and 3 /999

no o'sullivans though :( only 1 simmonds also, the rc /499

so happy doughty isnt /99, i still need to get his spgu rc /99 and also the jack johnson ice /99 lol

looking forward to seeing what they will look like also

I really like how they mixed up the rookies numbered to 99 for once. It gives people who don't have big pockets a chance to acquire a fairly low #d RC of the top guys. Plus, it also gives collectors of 2nd tier rookies and dark horses a chance to acquire a super low numbered RC of them. Just wait several years down the line when a few of those RCs /99 are going to be super hot commodities.

Here's to hoping that Doughty is a 249 in The Cup too :D

With so few rookies compared to past years production must be cut drastically this time around, more hot boxes of Ice like we've seen with other products this year?

No Gerbe or M.A. Gragnani... I realize Gerbe just made series 2 but Gragnani has been in most of the other sets??
