2010 Score Pattern?

I just went through a case of 2010 Score.... and I noticed a few things


1) the glossy one is always the last card in the pack

2) the insert card or RC (if it is in the pack), is the 2nd last card of the pack

3) packs that have autographs are all jumbled up (gloss in the middle, insert/RC in the middle etc) and the autograph is always 2nd from the back

4) in a given box the glossy cards will be of three teams (and the HL cards). This has been consistant over the entire case. One box will have glossy Atlanta, Calgary and Detroit... while the next will have glossy Edmonton, Anaheim and Dallas (etc).

5) glossy versons of HL cards are MUCH more common than the regular set cards. In almost every box I recieved at least one double of a glossy HL

6) one 20th anniversary per box

7) two glossy RC per box

8) a Kadri or Subban in every other box

9) no french back in the case that I had, but I did get an auto RC. No buyback either.

10) someone at Panini should be beaten for having several of the cards in the packs randomly upside down and backwards.




I like the product. An upgrade from Victory for sure as a base product. Can't beat $1 or $2 /pack!

My one box at the expo had four glossy RCs, and both Kadri and Subban.

If the glossy card is a Rookie(last card of the pack), the 2nd last card will still be a rookie.

Kadri and Subban in every other box are pretty much a given considering the rookies are seeded so high/often per pack. I, like Andy, pulled both in the same box, and in the same blaster only a few packs apart.

This one's worth mentioning. While the blasters don't seem to have as much rhyme or reason behind players and teams, the hobby boxes seem to seed 6 teams max (with at most one or two stragglers) per box, and most usually fall in sequence with each other (ie. getting glossy 370, 371, 372, 373 in a box isn't uncommon.) I've yet to come across a box where this wasn't the case.

I've opened 3 boxes and a blaster, and haven't found Kadri or Subban. :/

My 5 boxes had 3 glossy rcs per box. Out of my boxes I also got 3 autos.
2 Rookies, Tangradi and Hamill and 1 auto base parallel Stortini.

about the only thing that can be said about score is the
colation is extremly terrible for the glossys

and cases run some what the same on rookies, thus is why
you got alot of kadri and subban, as they are always in the
same box

I broke 2 cases and found 1 other thing in them that I would
hope, not run in all cases, thus, its my secret.....

point #5 - i beg to differ. don't think that i have gotten any glossy HL cards yet.

6 - No. 3 boxes broken, only 1 20th anniversary.

7 - had 4 in one of the boxes, can't recall the other 2.

3 hobby and 4 retail: no subban and one kadri. Also, no autos but I did get 1 French and 2 sp rookies (schenn and stepan).

What do the SP rookies look like compared to the regular rookies? Are the SP's higher than 550?

Not sure if this has been brought up here yet, but based on what I've seen, there's a very easy way to distinguish the regular rookies from the SP rookies outside of the card number on the back. The card stock on which the SPs are printed on are thicker, and lighter ink appears to have been used (unless it's just the way the same ink prints out on the thicker store,) resulting in a bit more of a faded look, especially when placed in light. Place an SP next to a regular rookie and you can definitely tell. The regular rookies almost appear flimsy in comparison to the SP rookies.
