2010 Toronto Fall

Well, Six days trip to the Kanada and Toronto is done. Time difference is about seven hours, so it takes couple of days recover to normal condition.

We started journey back to the Finland at monday 21.00 PM and I open my home door at tuesday 23.30 PM :devil:

It was worth of that! I just love International Centre's atmosphere. I can be there days, days and days.
This time I missed sunday because my friends desired that we are going to the falls. It was great trip too.

In Expo, I met a lot of great HI people's there like Ilhan, Connie, Jeremy, Andy, James and Wayne. Sorry, I can't remember all of you guys.

It was also nice to see one of my childhood hero, Wendel Clark.

I have a pretty tight want list. so it wasn't easy job to found missing Dougie cards, anyhow there was a LOT of cards and I got something.

a two week's before expo, I noticed that I miss a couple of base cards! I got one. Also ITG expo card and two punched expo cards there.

Pretty bad picture, but this one was a great pickup! 1992-93 UD McDonald's autograph. I'm not sure what this card really is..? It is mentioned in Beckett's big book. Prize card or something..?

Topps Chrome Refractor is nice. Retro card is from bay.

Superlative /9 and 2000-01 Crown Royale Limited series /25! VERY hard to find these days.

05-06 The Cup Hardware Heroes #HH-DG Doug Gilmour 1/1

Thank you Jeremy! It is one of the greatest ever made Gilmour card and It is now there where it belongs.


This was my second Toronto fall. Propably not a last one.

haha, weird I was standing right in front of Jeremy's booth as they worked out a deal as well. I remember vaguely something about Jeremy haggling you for an extra $20 jokingly. lol

Harri it was great to meet you and the rest of the Finnish crew at the Thursday dinner and then throughout the weekend. I enjoyed our conversation a lot. I am glad that the Hardware Heroes ended up in your collection. I really hope to see you at many more Expo's in the future!
