2013 Winter Classic now Cancelled

Thanks a lot you greedy farts. That is the last time I ever pay for any nhl hockey ticket.
You made me miss a chance of being part of history and most of all a fly by.

I always wanted to see a live outdoor hockey game where there is a fly over but thanks for shattering my dreams. My guess was to be a stealth bomber fly by.

Whenever ever you greedy farts decide to settle and you award the winter classic to detroit and troronto, this fan will not be attending.

I wonder if you greedy farts will reimburse me my hotel room

Just cancel the season now and get it over with. I would be livid right now if I had forked down the money on a flight and/or hotel room that were non-refundable.

NHL should do the right thing and refund the ticket price as well as the price people paid for their flights and rooms. Fat chance that happens.

This whole thing is disgusting. The league is losing fans left, right, and centre... all for what, a bigger piece of pie. Screw it! They don't deserve our business anymore, time to go spend our entertainment dollars elsewhere.

With the classic cancelled now, the pressure is fully on the players now, the owners really don't have much to lose other than the bags of cash the handful of cash cows (TOR, MTL, NYR) will lose. If nothing were to get done in the next couple weeks, then the players have likely dug in their heels again and we'll have no season.

I no longer care, cancel the whole season if you want. I was looking forward to seeing my Leafs in the Winter Classic and with no hope of that what little interest I had in this season is gone.

It still boggles my mind that the two sides waited until the last minute to BEGIN negotiations. This should have been resolved during the 2011-12 season. Instead, we will lose another full season of hockey. I don't think the owners and players realize how much this will hurt their league. Just when the NHL was starting to show signs of growth, they screw it up. Way to go you greedy morons

The PA did not want to have discussions going on during the season. Doesn't make sense to me either.
