2015-16 ITG Final Vault - 10 Box Case Break - The Vaultening

Blunt, honest, and pretty truthful for the most part. Great share with comment!

FYI-
Markstrom has been the "prospect" goalie for years. This year, I believe he was is considered the future of Vancouver (cog of Luongo trade to Florida).

Morrissey has seen one game with the Jets. He is a 2013 1st round pick D-man and will try for a position next year for sure.

McKeown is one of the D-men prospect that LA has in their "system", 2014 draft pick so still developing.

BTP has a crazy following. It is probably the best set to get plenty of goalies before they make it to the NHL due to years of development in the minors. Not my cup of tea, but other's.

Thanks for taking the time to post, especially with all the thoughtful commentary. Kinda wonder if this product would have been better if ITG dropped the price a bit and simply left half the cards out. Michael St. Croix??? Why bother?

I want to echo the sentiments of those above - I read every word of this post, and looked at every card.

I am pretty disappointed in this product in general - we are seeing so many 5/$1 autographs (Langkow, Reinprecht, Ninimaa...) and absolutely unknown jersey/patch cards in every break. Not to mention that many of them appear to have damaged edges/corners.

There are some great cards mixed in - the Roy auto, the Kane auto, the Tavares and of course the previously unreleased Vernon are very cool, but the reward doesn't seem to justify the risk at the $115+ price point per box.

I hope that those who are backing this product will find what they are looking for, but this stuff seems like it could have been aptly named "ITG Paper Bag" in comparison to the previous Vault releases, which were star-studded.
