2015-16 Panini Anthology Hockey*

Most important part of the product description as given by cardboard connections:
"Given that the thorough early checklist and general lack of any other information is a little curious, it is easy to wonder if this is another 2012 SP Signature Edition Baseball in the making."

2012 SP Signature Edition was a big product dump that is ALL cards with NO PLAYER PICTURES. If there aren't any player pics in this product I can't see me picking anything up and I can't see the secondary market having any demand for such cards.

If this is the case not many will touch it (including me)

Bert Peer? WTF? I understand there has to be some lower end autos to make higher end doable. But a one game wonder from the 1930s?

No player images? Check.

No team logos? Check.

Giant text of the player's name? Check.

Average cost of $21 US per 'hit'? Check.

Sounds like a winner to me.

Do we have any confirmation that the cards won't have player images?

I can't find a single example of Bert Peer's autograph online, nor can I find a sale value. Do you have a value for it? If not, you may be seriously undervaluing his signature, especially a certified example.

The cancer of this hobby is the negative speculation of aesthetics for cards that have merely been mentioned. Not saying that that is happening here. Or maybe it is. But maybe not. But kind of.

Let's wait to see at least picture.....

I think that's going a smidge too far. But only a little bit.

I'm intrigued by the stuff on the checklist as I would very much like to grab more Gorges Habs memorabilia cards and Price autos and so forth, but I'll be quite displeased if we get a Panini edition of this:

Though, being Panini, expect a lot more white...and that's not a bad thing.
