I understand that Upper Deck hobby wax will be released on Nov.5th.But does anyone know when the retail will be coming along.I believe that I am going to just buy a few cases of the cans.I am only interested in the rookies anyway and it is a whole lot cheaper than hobby.Any help will be greatly appreciated.Thanks, Winston.

I live in a small town so I have a good chance of finding some retail tins relatively easy. If they are still around $40 a tin and Game Jerseys are more scarce like they are in hobby (yes I still love pulling Game Jerseys) I probably won't bust many though. Can't let the McDavid craze go by without at least trying a few though.

Kevin,you think you live in small town. I have a couple cases sort of order of the tins. Hopefully I get at least one McDavid.How many tins per case.I was told 12.Is that correct.

Not sure how many tins are in a case but 12 sounds right Winston. I've never seen them in the case, just on my local Walmart shelves. Some years they sell better than others but I expect them to move quicker this year for obvious reasons. I still expect to have plenty of opportunities to walk in and grab a tin when the mood strikes me without finding an empty shelf every time.

Does anybody happen to know the odds for jersey cards and inserts in the tins this year?

If the hobby boxes are going for $100 (out of the gate, anyway, forget the mark ups for a second) that sounds about right.

Surely Walmart will have their 50% off sale in December though..... right?
