2015-16 Upper Deck Series ONE-AND-DONE

I'm in Halifax for a couple of days with my wife while she's on business, so with some time to kill I stopped in at Strictly Singles Sportscards and tried a box of UD1 hobby before the Cardboard Cartel sends prices to the moon.

Not sure what I'll do with it yet. That's a one-and-done for me when it comes to UD hobby

I'm usually more fussy taking my photos (straight on, perfectly centered, etc), so for me this is a "rough" shot

My iPhone does take far better photos than my scanner can produce though, I just use my phone for everything scan-wise now. When I get home I'll take a nicer one before I stash it away.

I think I'll keep it, at the very least until he starts playing again, but even then I've never pulled a YG of this magnitude and I was never going to spend the money on one so for the cost of one hobby box I think it's destined for the PC.

I might make it to a card shop once a year, if that, and it's only the second time I've been to SS in its current location. I wish I lived closer, but three hours is too far to drive just to visit a shop.

Another guy was there buying a box of UD while I was at the cash and we were talking about the prices of wax about to go up and on my way out I told him and Mike that the McDavid was in my box anyway so I wasn't too worried about it. They laughed and wished me luck. Thanks for the luck guys :laugh:
