ok looking product, but i for one do not have any sticker auto's in my collection as they hold very little value for me, not to mention the same old, no logo's, missing faces.
i will have to pass.

Just some quick info. We made about 25% less then last year. The only single swatch memorabilia cards, other then the jumbo One-Timer patches, will be signed. No unsigned single swatch jersey cards. Added some signers we haven't used in a bit or at all.
 
I literally can't tell any of these Leaf products from one another. I love the vintage players and memorabilia. I think you guys have come up with some cool concepts and ideas...... but some sort of specific brand designs would go a very very long way. There is just no differentiating between any of the product lines you are producing. Ultimate, ITGU, Genesis, Superlative..... It has all become just one big release to me.

I wonder if Gino Odjick will get some new cards. His health got better, it would be nice to see some auto/mem cards :)

I'm curious about the price point for one 3 cards pack.

I appreciate the feedback. I do have to ask of you have opened any of the above products you mention. I don't ask that in a doubtful or mean manner I am just curious. Each product has very different drivers, designs, schematics and themes. Sometimes sell sheets tend to blend together, I get that.

Superlative was hard signed with no multi player signed cards, used a great deal of NHL shields and was unfortunately over priced without strong box level content( my bad)

ITGU is very vintage heavy with little auto content and heavy with vintage designs. It used content unique to the product such as stadium boards and country specific jerseys.

Ultimate is our only product with triple and higher signed cards, zero single player single swatch jersey cards and the one timer monster patches. Also very different packaging from the others. Very foiled up and modern looking. Each card is delivered in a magnetic one touch.

Genesis used no foil whatsoever, is a mixture of CHL, vintage and legends. Had 19 team legacy jersey cards unique to that release, record breaker memorabilia cards that match up players and the man that broke the record and other fun stuff. No CHL was used in the others you mentioned.

Lumber kings. Stick only product. No foil

Masked Men: goalies only using pads, skates, gloves and sticks. The return of masks with unique technology will be very cool!


I get what you are saying. When you are a mainly vintage product company, things can blend. We are working on that. I also think when broken down you can see many differences( a good amount i didn't list.)
 
Gregg, I have a great deal of respect for you always being on here and doing your best to answer any questions and having many conversations with the goal of improving your products. While I have not opened any Leaf hockey products, I do not open any wax, so don't take that as a slight. I have over the years opened hundreds of BAP/ITG wax boxes. Even their brands of BAP Memorabilia, BAP Signature Series, Between The Pipes, etc.. all had "unique" styles and feels that set each apart in a way.

Obviously as you stated above, all of your products have specific details, but my point was more towards the overall design and look of the brands. I guess I am just seeing the same types of quad jerseys and patches, single vintage memorabilia sets, and similar looking multi-autos in a lot of these brands to name a few.

Even Upper Deck has specific "hits" found only in certain products..... Future Watch Autos in SP Authentic, Supreme Patches in SPGU, Game Jerseys in UD1 & 2. What I am seeing from you guys are similar "hits" throughout all brands. I think spreading some of these things out and having certain types found ONLY in one of the brands might help differentiate and allow the brands to build specific followings.

Obviously Stickwork, Lumber Kings, & Masked Men already have that going for them.... but then the overall design is where you really can allow those brands to stand out!

PS... I am very excited for Masked Men!! Likely will be my first Leaf breaks!

I hear you brother! I do. I did show how we have content exclusive to certain products though :). I think you'll see that in Ultimate! You mention multi signed but as I mentioned above, only Ultimate really has multi signed. One timer patches only in ultimate. Shields in Superlative. Extreme vintage in ITGU. Sticks in Lumber Kings. CHL and franchise legacy in Genesis....you get the idea :) if you opened them I think you would see. I think everything is perception I guess. Peace out!
 
Lookin' real nice! I like how the lack of chest logos is handled on the cards shown above. Of course drawn to those jumbo one-timers.
 
Looks great! I'll echo what Jeremy said about how the designs mask the lack of logos. Well done. Will this be available at the Expo?
 
I see there are a few Vezina pieces in this product..Just curious as to what Leaf has available in regards to Vezina? I've noticed that the pieces in the last couple of products have been skates...Any pad or sticks left? Cyclone Taylor and Pelle Lindbergh as well..Ive seen skates for Taylor and mostly jersey some unique material (glove or pad) from Lindbergh...Is the material close to totally drying up for these players..and are they all in cluded in Ultimate? The product looks awesome though!!!
