Busted four boxes and a pack from the open box on the shelf at the local.

Hightlights

Fleer Metal: McDavid, Eichel, Larkin and Domi

Fleer Metal Red: Sam Bennett

Flair Blue Ice: Larkin

Base jersey cards; Panarin and Domi

On the open box of packs at the local, I was lucky and hit the auto patch.



Nice patches all the way around in this break

Final hit was this RED

Nice breaks, that Domi is a beauty.

On a tangent....

Upper Deck makes no sense though with the Janmark. He was drafted in 2013 by the Red Wings. So, okay, I'd expect them to have a Wings photoshoot jersey. That year was the first year with the new Dallas jerseys... not the black one that is used as a patch.

So what do they do for photoshoot jerseys? Did someone from UD fly to Texas or whatever and tell Mattias to throw on this old Stars jersey and take a few selfies? It's pretty frustrating to see an old patch in 2015-16 products.

That is probably exactly what they did. It's a shame, but it's what they do. Sam Reinhart had a boat load of old Sabres slug jersey patches last year, including on his Premier RPA 1/1.

It would be really nice if the NHLPA made a rule against using photoshoot crap. Bring back tough to hit jersey cards and game used only. No ore of these $1 bin cards
 
I agree, it would be great if all the jersey swatches were game used.

I guess we can always dream of that happening.
 
Agree, there's nothing better than having Nichushkin Rookies with Mooterus jersey patches. If there were actually photos of the player in that jersey it would be great (also ridiculous). But we still eat it like Birthday cake. Yummy.

Honestly guys, be thankful that you're getting hockey jersey pieces no matter how old/photoshoot, etc.

Things got so bad over on the UFC Topps products that they literally used Topps t-shirts that fighters wore while signing their cards as "worn memorabilia" :duh::duh::duh:

On a happier note, those RPAs look really sharp. I like that design a lot
