Me and a buddy were texting about this announcement. Mostly about the Alumni Game... Can you imagine... Hull, Oates, Cujo, Federko, MacInnis, Pronger (?), Tkachuk... And maybe Gretzky. Suiting up against Roenick, Chelios, Belfour, etc?

Way to rain on the guys parade.

As a fan of this rivalry and some of the characters involved over the decades, I can't wait to see who suits up for both sides. Would love to see Chase and Twist for the Blues, its too bad Probert is gone, I guess the Hawks could throw Grimson and Enrico out there.

Teams like the Hawks and Wings will probably be annual fixtures. They are original 6 with huge fan bases, people want to see them and will pay.

Oh for sure, I know that. But I would love to see some other teams get some love, too. Caps have been involved in two of them, and I'm satisfied. Can't afford to go to another one for quite a while! :laugh:
