This will be quick as I only bought 36 cards! No sets, no packs, no boxes. What can I say? Of the 36, 31 were from Leaf and 5 were from Upper Deck.

2024 Haul

As you can see, it's dominated by the 2020-21 Pro Set Memories set which is one of my favorites. It was an unusually good year for Green 1989 cards. I'm not targeting them; it just fell out that way. I do prefer the 1989 and 1990 designs, but they also are slightly more common than the 1991s and a lot easier to find than the 1992s.

Big Guns

I was extremely pleased to add these 4 cards. I'd been hoping to get Jagr and to pick up the name variant (Mario Jr.) to two copies was a real joy. The Lemieux is actually the most expensive card of the year. Did I overpay? Yes. But I'd just gotten a bonus at work and I just really like the card.

Bossy and Trottier only appear in the Pro Set Champions subset. They'd been hard to acquire. Again, scoring the green version was a real bonus.

Though I really like The Cup's The Show subset, I have decided not to collect it. The Gretzky is a one and done.

One of Ones

A few 1/1s. The best is of course the Selanne, which is probably my final purchase of the year. It's my first Selanne for the set and I believe it's the absolute best Selanne.

Lucky Raymond

I was smitten by the St. Patrick's set and decided to go for the rainbow of Ray Bourque. I think I have every variant, which means I have 4 of the 7 cards produced. And I have a pair of the Bourque/Bird cards.

Finally, here is the family portrait of my 2020-21 Pro Set Memories, now at 55 cards:
