Wednesday I stopped by the local and busted a case of 2025/26 Upper Deck series two and was NOT impressed with the fact that the price per box was $60.00 more than series one ! That sucks but it is what it is. And I didn't get a complete set of young guns, missed two. For the past few years over time I have put multiple sets together but with the price increase for series two I decided, NOPE NOT doing that this year.
So I called the local back and asked if I could trade in my extra young guns and a couple other cards for instore credit? Sure come back in so I go back and we did a trade. I ended up getting another box of series two in the trade. Hit a Zeev Buium young guns and one of the two cards I needed for the set. This was in that box:
The inventory manager for the store asked me if I was going to break any more series two? I looked and they had three boxes left on the shelf? I told him no, I am done with series two. No chance of pulling Schaefer from those three boxes. He then said the UPS had just delivered 12 more cases and he said if I wanted to bust a box or more, he would open a new case. It is a trip through Dallas and Plano traffic to get there so I thought, okay one more box and be done, just hope it is a box with something good. Inventory manager picks out a case from the 12 and I pick out a box. He laughed and said that he would leave the case sitting beside me because he knows that sometimes I go a little crazy busting wax.
I pick out a box and these were the hits of the box;
And in the second pack from the box was this!
Yes, I am now done with 2025/26 Upper Deck Series TWO, went out on a high note! Bought the one card the mascot young gun off eBay, set will be finished upon arrival.
