We all have numbers rolling around in our head that have special significance to us, or that bring up memories tied to our past. Some might be tied to special people in our lives, others could bring back memories of an event or activity. Examples of some of my most important numbers are:

1 - my wife's birthday every December
12 - Iggy's main jersey number with the Calgary Flames
14 - a birthdate shared by my dad and my 2 sons
16 - my mom was the oldest of 16 kids, meant lots of aunts and uncles
17 - my mom's birthdate
47 - the number of years that my best bud and I have known each other
77 - the summer I spent working at the Banff Safeway, an experience I'll never forget

This year the number 35 is pushing it's way to the top of the pile, as my wife and I will be celebrating our 35 wedding anniversary at the end of July.

But what about 21? My first thought is of blackjack, and playing poker with my buddies during my university days. Lately a new connection is being formed, as I continue to scan my Iginla pc. I guess that will happen when you find 31 versions of card #21, with 26 of them planted in my pc. The card I'm talking about is from Panini Certified 2010-11, and it takes on several different forms. There are Mirror and Platinum versions, different colors (black, emerald, gold, blue, and red), as well as autos and memorabilia cards. There are even die-cut memorabilia cards under a different name (Fabric Of The Game - FOTG) and a Fall Expo card that share the same number.

With the first 4 pages I'll keep the blackjack connection active by showing different combinations of cards that total 21. Btw, the Power Rangers cards are my wife's contribution to this thread, she knows where the boys keep all their cool stuff from their childhood.

Certified pg.1

The first page shows the base card from this group.

Certified pg.6

Certified pg.7

That means I am missing 5 cards. There are 4 FOTG cards 1)jersey number #/25, 2)NHL die-cut #/25, 3)team die-cut #/25, 4)Mirror Black #/1, 5)Mirror Ice Materials Prime #/1.

If memory serves I saw the last card at a Calgary show when this product first came out, but the seller was asking for a high 3 digit price, so I walked away from it.

As usual, these pages were made with Book Creator, my go to program for documenting my Iginla collection. Hope you enjoyed the show.

Always an intriguing read Al! I'm liking the Power Rangers stuff. My son is into those now. They've made a comeback in recent years. The t.v. show is still as chessy as the old 90's version. Haha.

I like that Iggy Platinum Black /1. What a find!

Wow always love these shows! Thank you! And as always that’s a great collection

Thanks very much. Suffice it to say that checklists were always a necessity back in those days, so many Iggy cards to pull in.

Great collection Al! Thanks for sharing and congrats on the anniversary!

Thanks, the years have gone by quickly, but I'm looking forward to hitting 50 years.

Very nice Al!

Thanks Chris, throw in the 41 Panini Limited and 29 Panini Dominion cards in my pc and it was a very busy year picking up Panini cards. :loseit:

Thanks, these shows/characters seem to go in cycles, although I don't think Huckleberry Hound or Quickdraw McGraw will be coming back anytime soon.

The Platinum Black /1 was actually a HI deal with frankiefives. Don't remember the particulars of the deal, but it's highly probable that Frank contacted me about the card. He was always good about that for Iginla stuff.

Great job on this Certified series Al! That team prime /10 has to be my favourite, very cool patch on it. Best of luck reeling in those last few!

Congrats on 35, and great show as usual!

I really liked Certified with all its nice looking parallels. Looks really great In a show like this one! Best of luck finding those last 3 cards!

Yeah that is a very colorful card, neat how the colors blend through the letters. Thank goodness the pace has slowed down in the last couple of years for Iggy's cards.

I love how you’ve done this. It’s got me thinking about what to do with my Ladd collection.

Congrats on 35!!!!!!

Glenn

Thanks Glenn! If you decide to take Book Creator for a test drive give me a shout if you have any questions.

I love the creativity here.
Fun thread to read.

Thanks Ameet, glad to hear you enjoyed it. It's definitely fun for me to create it.

Always a fun viewing experience.

Thanks Al

Thanks Brian, wish I could tell you that I know what I'm going to create, but it just sort of happens.

Thanks, I appreciate it. Yeah, 3 attainable cards to pursue, doubt that I'll ever find the two #1/1 cards.
