Hey HI, here's a rare S & T from yours truly.

They are few and far between lately but it's time to update the masses.

First off we start with everyone's favourite parallel set, Artifacts

I still check ebay from time to time and I saw this one with no bids so I threw one at it.

Always nice when you land a card being the only bidder and get it for the opening bid.

A nice Spectrum /25 of one of my PC guys, Ironman Steve Larmer

2015 Larmer Artifacts Spectrum 25

Next is a local pickup from someone I made a deal with before Christmas (Remember my Burke Letterman nameplate?)

Well he landed another Whaler letter that fit me to a T

2019 Turgeon Chrono LM T 25

I doubt I will go after the complete nameplate a la Burke but having the first letter of a Whaler is a nice start at least

This next one popped up recently on ebay with a decent BIN or BO

Threw an offer and got a counter and boom another great early auto card of the original Capital scoring machine to add to the ole PC

2002 Gartner UD MOD AU 25

That concludes our /25 series of arrivals. The Larmer and Gartner arrived the same day and with it an unexpected third mailer in the ole mailbox.

I recognize the addressed to "Geofferson" emblazoned on the mailer and know it can only be from one person, Hi's own Big Barracuda, Glenn "Carolina O' " Conners

No doubt an unnecessary thank you for some recent Whaler PC help and sure enough out pops this

1995 Burke Pro Mags

Glenn picked one up for his own PC and was thoughtful enough to snare me one as well.

But more amazing is the other piece of cardboard, if you can call it cardboard, that resided in said bubble mailer

Great Scott! I mean Great Whalers!

and the back...

This a custom complete with see through plexiglass and hand cut images of personal faves Sean Burke and Geoff Sanderson. Notice the funky back with Whaler colour sparkly goodness.

What a piece of art to add to the "Inder Collection"

Can't imagine the time and effort that goes into Glenn's customs, truly a steady and talented hand.

That's it for today, brought to you by the number 25 and of course 1! Of note to us Whaler fans, it was 25 years ago next month that our beloved Hartford Whalers played their last game back in 1997.

Cheers all and thank for stopping by!

Wow! This one sparkles and shines! Your own Inder Collection....some deep seeded Whaler roots for show n tell, for shore~

Geoff

I'm a big fan of the Gartner 'Marks of Distinction' auto.

Thanks a lot for the show.

Gotta love your posts Geofferson, and super happy you enjoyed!

But we may bump heads on a Turgeon nameplate ;) I'm still pondering it
