3 Awesome Leaf Ultimate additions...BUT...

I have been waiting anxiously for this release and the checklist did not disappoint!

However...could someone PLEASE help me understand how Leaf could possibly insert patches into high end cards like these UPSIDE DOWN?!?! This has gotta be one of my biggest pet peeves - I have 20 One Timers from previous sets and have only ever seen correct orientation of patches. What gives this year?

That Shields patch is epic.

It came back to us from the manufacturing plant wrongly upside down. There would not have been time to return it and have it repositioned. So, it was either remove it from the product or use it as is. Mistakes do happen as much as we wish we could be 100% perfect. Hope you can enjoy it either way. Hope this helps with understand how it can happen

What a shame to see that Shields released like that. The others you can live with but the Shields being a highlight piece? Leaf made the decision to release and you seem pretty happy so the right collector obtained it. I'm assuming Leaf have addressed this quality control issue for future releases.

A “shame” isn’t the word I would use. It could have not been released at all, which was an option. We have addressed the quality control issue in regards to one upside down patch, however, a mistake will happen again in the future at some point. Mistakes happen.

I'll be honest, I'd just store it with the patch in the proper orientation. There is no image that would make it look awkward in that position. Sure, the text would be flipped but I have a feeling many, like myself, would be instantly drawn and fixated on the actual patch. Those Wild Wing head shoulder patches are BONKERS! :speechless:

No chance of it being fixed...? Maybe not the autographed card since the cost must be higher with an autograph included, but the one timers aren't foil stamped, are they? Not to put Leaf on the spot or pretend to know what goes into getting that card replaced, but man that would look so much nicer upright.

Nice haul regardless...Leaf has outdone themselves with this Ultimate release.

Gorgeous stuff, but I definitely wouldn't have put them in the product. Just my personal opinion and can understand those that feel otherwise.
