Picked up the boxes from Mikeysleafs and was unable to attend the Expo so TripleB snagged them for and got them last week from him.

I was super excited to rip into my first non sport boxes but lets just say the excitement didnt last long.

Here's the damage on the three boxes...

I was pretty dissapointed with the breaks. I mean the Gambit sketch is pretty cool and so is the Taylor Kitsch (Gambit) auto. However, for some reason I expected better results. I ended up watching the movie and was even more dissapointed at who I got. The Old Lady had a very very minor role in the movie as well did the General. I know you can't guage a product out of a couple of boxes but geez that was money well wasted.

I think I'll stick with the singles when it comes to non sports.

nice gambit's

haven't seen the movie yet but he's a fav of mine from the comic books. I've been looking to add one of those to the collection.

No offense, but this is one of those times where a little research would have helped lessen the blow a little. There are 2 "hits" advertised per box. Sketch cards have been roughly 4 or 5 a case, so that leaves a lot of filler room for autos. With that many, you know there have to be some poor selections. There were 15 total autos (not including the multi-case incentive), so you're lucky you actually didn't get any dupes.

I think 3 out of your 5 were good autos. And for what it's worth, Julia Blake played a character named Heather Hudson. Hudson is a.k.a. Vindicator of the Marvel team Alpha Flight, so at least she's a "named" person in the Marvel universe (though older than her comic doppelganger) and not just some random woman.

Value and research are two different things. Regardless of the advertised the resale value on any of these cards are no where near worth the investment put into the boxes. Sure the sketch was a multi box pull but keep in mind there were three boxes so I pulled the average on that. The issue I have here is more in the resale value. How many of the 5 autos will get you $10 or less? How many can you pick up for $5 or less?

So not that great of a break if you ask me.
