I picked up my 3 boxes of SPGU for this year. The results are a little more disappointing this year that the last few but happy nontheless.
1st box:
No major RC's, one /100 jersey and Grachev auto/50 RED.
3rd box:
Again no major RC's, one /100 jersey and Sharks significant auto (Clowe I think...correction, Pavelski.)
There's a reason why I left the 2nd box for last...my 3 box minimum holds true for good pulls.
The damage:
1st pack-Super Mario Patch /35...3 colors.
3rd pack-Significant Bobby Orr /50
5th pack-Extra Significant Landeskog & Nugent-Hopkins!!!
Yes, a hot box! I was happy with the patch but nooo, it had to be 2 more big hits. The rest of the box had /100 jerseys and no significant RC's, but did have one /50 RC, no one big.
Mixed bag. I can see why some open a box & quit. I learned it doesn't pay to do it that way. Three seems like the magic number for me, and it still holds true today.
This may be last break for a while. My wife is planning to "retire" from her job and try her hand at jewelry making and writing for a bit. This, of course cramps our future budget starting in June. I love frequenting the posts and might start to sell some my cards in my Bucket. If interested, let me know. In the meantime, I will be trying to complete my 2 sets in signature.
