Hey everyone,
After a long hiatus I'm back! After not cracking any wax for just over a decade and seeing the price of hobby boxes, I've been patiently waiting for O-Pee-Chee to come out this year. OPC was my favourite set to put together as a kid, and when I saw this years retro cards I knew I'd want to do some set building again.
I picked up four boxes on release date and two more yesterday evening, I'm glad I did because the last two boxes produced both orange parallels, this printing plate and the 3D Marquee Rookie:
The blank back is of Robert Thomas, the orange parallels are #/25, the Pastrnak matte pink is #/75, the Demko is #/100, while the other rainbows are all out of #/350.
The black border retros look even smarter than the regular retros to me. Not pictured is a damaged Hanley. All are #'d/100.
The blue bordered rookies and the reds:
and then finally some of the better marquee rookies and the retro rookies I pulled:
Other than that I have a few of the photo variations (Ovie no helmet, Draisaitl goal celebration, Zibanejad and Slafkovsky 3-stars) and a smattering of blue bordered versions.
I'm trying to put together a base set (missing about 60 cards, I have many doubles to trade), the retro parallel set, the OPC Premier set, and the playing cards.
I'll have the full want list/trade list posted this weekend, along with my wants for a couple other sets I'm trying to complete. Everything in the first three photos is available for trade!
