Hey 604 folks (778/250) ,

Want to keep this local if possible but would consider other members who I often mail items to.

I was thinking of getting a PSA membership to get a few cards graded. The membership is 15 cards for $199USD, so call it close to $20 Cdn per card after exchange, shipping and all that. As usual, I'd be doing this at cost as I don't want to make any money on it.

I'm only looking at getting 4-6 cards graded (but could go up to 10 if need be), but am wondering if any other Vancouver members had anything they wanted to use PSA for.

Thanks,

Kevin

I'm not local but I'd be very interested

Weve dealt before a few times...

On the other hand if you feel local is the way to go I won't lose any sleep

Live in Steveston. Would be interested. I am working on a set o1933 baseball and have some for grading. Would you also involve the monthly specials as a shared thing>

More than likely, I'd only do it the one time as I don't know if I have the time or number of cards myself to commit to a more regular program.

*** I'm going ahead with this at this time, but will put a hold on any one else wanting to submit cards until I finalize how many cards I'm submitting for others ***

I've sent messages to those who have texted/PM'd me or mentioned something in this thread and I'll figure out what I've got pending.

Thanks,

Kevin

What a gong show this (PSA) submission has turned out to be. I submitted the cards and PSA is running so far behind they are nowhere near done. Needless to say, it's very unlikely I will be doing a second submission.

The CS agent I spoke to today was very nice but running multiple weeks behind is not providing me with the service I paid a fair bit for.

Ive heard similar comments about BGS as well. Evidently the card grading business is booming.

Indeed! COMC just sent out an update stating they're no longer offering the BGS 'non-guaranteed service' option anymore due to the their constant backlog that has led to massive month-long delays. However, the slightly more expensive 6-week service will still be maintained.

I highly doubt they will turn around their 6 week service any faster.
But I am testing the waters with a regular submitter.. Let's see if they can do any faster with preferential treatment lol
