72-73 checklist help

Hey yall,

I am trying to do the 72-73 opc set and notice that on the 3rd checklist there is an error of some sort. Does anybody know how to tell which is which??? I am curious as I am working on picking one up but I want to be fair on the deal. Let me know if you have any info. Thanks Chad

The checklist problem in this issue is a bit confusing, but SLAM! Collectibles had a story about it a while back talking about the SP's in the set.

What it boils down to is that the version of card #334 that says "More WHA Stars" for some of the cards should have been card #208 but it was misnumbered. Evidence from the sheet backs this up.

The "real" #334 will list all of the WHA players and is tougher to find.
