Figured I would ask the masses. There currently is a seller on eBay with several of the 96-97 UD Hart Hopeful gold cards. All are usually numbered to 100 but these seem to be unnumbered. Not sure if these are the true pack pulled inserts or something else. If anyone has any idea I appreciate the help.

along with other '96-98 "case" hit inserts (Wizards,Lord Stanley Finals, etc)those are back door unreleased cards that have been proliferating ebay as of late.someone at UD decided to line their pockets after receiving their pink slip me-thinks.

That's what I was thinking. Sad thing is I think those were hand numbered so one could easily make up a number.

One very easy tell is this new wave is a complete different type of cardboard than the pack pulled one. The new versions all warp/curl quite noticeably.

I noticed that in the scan Darren. I almost hit the BIN on one as the price was too good to beat. Figured I would ask first as the non-numbering threw me off. Neat PC Card if its cheap I just worry it will devalue the originals!

I think there's nothing wrong with buying one of those as long as both seller and buyer knows those are not "the real thing".
