97-98 Pinnacle Printing Plates.

Hi there,

I seem to have the opportunity to acquire two 97-98 Pinnacle Printing Plates of Kirk McLean and Darren Puppa respectively. Of course they are rare, but do they hold any value? Ebay does not give much help. I would appreciate your input.

I has been outbidded 3 times for three different 97-98 Pinnacle Plates with my mainly PC-guy Tom Barrasso (all 3 those was front ones) and ended by closing $70-$90 every times and it was during 2008-2010.

But maybe it was just because of Barrasso who had some collectors beside me during that time, but I bet that with a right player on the card sells very well.

Maybe plates has lost a bit of its "magic" now since there're too much of these on the market now but 97-98 Pinnacle Press Plates was the first ever plates on the hockey market so they're a "must have" for player-collectors then since they are the original.
