A bit OT: Where to get jerseys customized?

OK quick question.. I bought a replica Cleveland Barons jersey and of course it is blank. I want to get it customized with a number and name BUT since the Barons are no longer in existence, where can I get it customized at (with original numbers/fonts, etc?) Anybody know of any reputable jersey customization places? I am going to try the Sharks store here locally but the big issue is if they will have the Barons font and style.. Any ideas of where else I can try?

I do not know how long ago the Barons went away - but you can try looking on the internet for Cleveland Sports Memorabilia Stores - one is likely to sell team jersey's and such. Perhaps they still have what you need - or can at least point in a local direction in Cleveland???

I got an old Phoenix third jersey done through IceJerseys.com. All the right fonts etc. But then I discovered a place closer to home in Rockford, IL - Exclusive Pro Sports at exclusivepro.com. They actually did the customization for IceJerseys. So for the Nordiques jersey I needed done I just sent it to them in Rockford instead of sending it to Toronto and having them send it to Rockford. If you have pictures of the Barons jersey, numbers, nameplates etc. just send that with the jersey so they know exactly what you want. Hope this helps.

I would think a local uniform/promotional apparel store could do it

We have a couple places in town and they customize jerseys

Not sure if you can get an exact match but if you supply a photo or something for them to go by they can cut the letters/numbers to match the scheme

I still haven't decided who I am getting on it.. Most likely either Michalek or Cheechoo.. The Barons jersey I have is the Sharks one with the Shark in a Top Hat!

I actually am getting the Sharks Barons jersey from like 3-4 years ago and not the 70's one Here is what the side numbers look like:

Guess maybe I can try to find another team with similar numbers?

As far as the numbers go, the font would be the same as those from the NHL AS jerseys that they wore in 2000 and 2001 IIRC. So you should be able to get it done at the Sharks store. As far as the letters, I don't who would've used a similar font, but seeing they're in the same organization - they should be able to obtain the necessary files to do it.
