a couple pick-ups from the weekend

Had the chance to see a couple Hall of Famers again over the weekend at different places and couldnt turn it down.

On Saturday, a collectibles store in Sterling Heights had Ted Lindsay at their store. I've seen Ted countless times and each time, I leave very impressed with the meeting. How many other players would actually get up and leave their seat to take a picture with each and every one that wanted a pic with Ted? Always wears a suit and tie and willing to chat with everyone that walks up to him.

Heres what I had him sign this time ~

these were a give away at one of the Wings games this past season. Canvas type material.


next up is a little retirement banner

thought this would look pretty good with the one I picked up a month ago when Delvecchio was in town

Sunday took us to another collectibles store in Troy that had Gordie appearing at their storeand I picked up this

For just losing his wife, Gordie looked to be in good spirits!! We talked to him a good 20 minutes and he had us laughing pretty good.

Hey Cyril, I have a few Leafs autos from Bower, Kennedy, Duff, Sittler, Stanley and Watson. Just not too many Leafs coem over this way for some reason??

Thanks Stephanie, Ted is still very cheap around here, usually $10-15 per and Gordie starts out at $100
