As someone who just watched the auctions and didn't bid.

1. I think we need a standard time zone (I'm not sure it really matters which time zone) I was confused on some of the end times.

2. Can't bump your own thread, I went into a couple threads and noticed the seller bumped them for no reason other than to move it to the top of the thread.

3. Not sure how much work the following would be: Having all auctions end on a sunday night I think is ideal, perhaps we need subfolders for stating when the auction ends

Sub Folder: Sunday, June 20th - I would then go into that folder to see all of the auctions that are finishing that night.

Hope the above made sense, I think the first round went well, I haven't compared end prices here with those on ebay, but if you are within 15% it basically works out the same plus the have the added advantage of dealing with people from our site.

I was a beta tester...unfortunately, I don't think I received 50% of the ebay pricing.

plus they were Mcdavid and Larkin cards! not older ones.

I might use this option of 1.00 to 5.00 cards but not for higher end...until we get more members.

Or just to buy cards at very good deals! but for a seller. not quite sure yet.

In time I can see this taking off. Also for transactions should we be linking the auction to the transaction thread for the final details of the deal?

I was a bidder, it was a little confusing at first, but so far it worked out. It was a good test run but I feel bad for some of the sellers, some of the cards went for far to cheap,

I believe this is why Jeremy warned people to set their starting bids accordingly. No where near the amount of users on here as there are on eBay so I wouldn't set starting prices at $1, set it at what you would be happy getting if you only got one bid.

Same here - I was anticipating a few more bids at the very least. Lots of views - not alot of action tho.
