A few good boxes of Hot Prospects

I don't normally post box breaks, but these had me ever-so-slightly delighted.
After dropping by the best local card hangout yesterday, I bought a few boxes of Mini-Jerseys for my son and a couple of boxes of 07-08 Hot Prospects for myself... a set I've liked doing for the three years it's been issued.

Here are the results of yesterday's two boxes as well as the prior three I did a couple of weeks ago:

One very disturbing fact regarding the base cards, though... as in past years, there seem to be some either short-printed base cards, or regional distribution is poorly collated. After 5 boxes, I have at least more duplicates than base cards for the set, but there are some cards that I've not pulled even once. Nor does the dealer have the spares I'm looking for. Two years ago, it took me months to get the final base card I needed, even though I opened at least 6 boxes and checked back regularly with others who opened boxes..

Oh well, that's the risk one takes when ripping wax. I need these base cards to finish, if anyone wants to trade for the ones they're missing:

Anyways, M if that Backstrom hasn't moved on come 'The Big One' this upcoming weekend. Bring it along and hopefully we'll be able to hammer out a dealio?
