A few more Sweet Shot pickups...75% there!

Like a few others here, I have developed an unhealthy infatuation with the Sweet Shot "Ice" signings, and have decided to do the set. What's not to love about this set - nice design, semi-limited, creative use of "window sig", nice checklist...Thanks to our friend/enemy Ebay and to a few very friendly folk here, I have managed to now pick up 31 of the 41 cards in the set. Here is a sampling of a few of the more recent arrivals (I'll spare everyone pics of the Turco, Vokoun and Ryder ) -

With the addition of The Kid, I now have all of the big hitters with the exception of Brodeur. The quest continues...and here's hoping that I actually finish this sonofagun! If anyone has any of the following and is looking to sell or trade, that would be incredibly helpful!

Is anyone doing the "puck" auto set? I thought about trying that as well, but that checklist is huuuuge, so that ain't gonna happen. I am trying to pick up players I like, and it's a great bookend to the ice version of the set. Thanks for the read, and happy collecting!!

Thanks for the comments. Your info probably explains why the Zetty has been so hard to find. Hopefully it gets redeemed quickly so they can start to pop up on the secondary market.

I was thinking of doing that as well - and may still (for now I just pick them up when I can). As for the pucks I have a few, and now the Orr is incoming so I'm thinking I will do that set - yep I'm nuts but it'll be fun.

Yup, I think you are nuts . It's a nice set, but there are some real tough cards in the basic "puck" auto group, just enough to scare me away. Well, that and the fact that it is ninety-something cards - but if you have the big names, the only ones to worry about are some of the SP's. Good luck on it, and if my quest on that part of the set stagnates, I can probably hook you up with some of the SP's that I have already grabbed.
