A few questions re: an idea I have.

1. What do you think the value of a complete AUTOGRAPHED set of 08-09 OPC base would be?

2. What do you think the value of a complete AUTOGRAPHED set of 08-09 OPC Retro would be?

3. As a HI community, do you think it would be possible to get these cards autographed before next Christmas?

4. What would be the best method of getting maximum value on these sets...ebay charity auction, raffle tickets, etc?

I think if it was for charity, you might see it sell for a fair amount, especially the retro set, but in general, the value of certified autos is often poor, and non-certified autos command less.

It would be something cool to accomplish and very impressive to see but if they are not certified auto's the vast majority will bring in poor sales. Look at it this way... it will cost you nothing more than a card and two stamps to try and get the auto yourself. Good luck if you try and accomplish it tho.

If you're doing it to turn a profit - don't. You'll fail.
If it isn't certified some how, it might as well be my autograph on every card.
