I was on the road this weekend due to work and decided to stop by the LCS.
Outside of S1/S2, I hadn't opened any other boxes this year. But when saw these boxes on sale essentially for the price of a tin/blaster I decided why not.
ANTHOLOGY
I typically don't care much for Anthology but I have picked up some cool patches for my PC so I figured why not.
Not much here but the Stepan is pretty cool and Shattenkirk had a big summer.
(The back of the Galchenyuk is a white swatch piece of Brendan Gallagher.)
FINAL VAULT
Like Anthology I don't care much for the product but all of pwag31's S&T made me curious. And the fun part is you never know what to expect. So I decided to try 2 boxes.
Box 1
A Datsyuk auto is always cool. Same with a Price GU. And the Numminen GU is bursting out of the card.

Box 2
Another Datsyuk auto ha. I'm not a huge Mask guy but the Curtis Joseph looks cool. And can't go wrong with Patrick Roy. Though the GU is a little USA heavy. :devil:
15-16 PORTFOLIO
I stayed away from this product even though I thought the photography was superb in this set. But getting only one auto and one GU card I didn't like the price point. Well, this box was the cheapest of the 4 so I figured why not.

Can't complain about hitting a McDavid and hitting a star player in Kopitar for the auto isn't bad. And yeah, the photography is pretty good.
So all in all, not the best but not the worst. It was a fun break without getting the sameness of S1/S2 or the stress of hoping to hit something big when put down some cash.
I'm inclined to keep one of the Datsyuks and the Kopitar but everything is available.
