Verified Trader,
I've been having a good couple of weeks with PC and museum dual pickups. Last week, I had the Levente Szuper Ottawa 67's practice jersey, and this week, something a little bit more special belonging to my all-time favorite goaltender: Arturs Irbe.
Tidbit of trivia, "Irbe" is Latvian for partridge...so, yeah, his English name would be Arthur Partridge.
Onto business. As you all may or may not know, Arturs Irbe became the goalie coach for the Washington Capitals in 2009-10 and stayed on until the end of the 2010-11 season when he left the team due to their outright refusal to ever give him a chance to be more than a goalie coach for the team. While in a goalie coach position, the former goalies of the NHL never wear their actual equipment, instead wearing trainers' tracks and regular player-style gloves to teach goaltending. So, I think you see where I am going with this!
Here we have it, a set of gloves used by Arturs Irbe while he was the goalie coach for the Washington Capitals. His name is embroidered on the cuffs, and there is some consistent wear on the right glove where he would be teaching stick-handling (though I don't know if you want to learn stick-handling from Irbe...sorry). The gloves also smell putrid showing that it has been used in some sweaty training sessions with the team.

Because wear is going to be minimal and make definitive photo-matching impossible, here is a picture of Irbe using an identical, though possibly the same, set of gloves to teach one of the Caps' goalies:
