A month of new Osgoods (scan heavy)

I've been away for a few years, and after tracking a bunch of cards I'd missed in that time, I've finally managed to get to within 70 cards of having every Osgood non-1/1 and non-card show (granted, I'll still grab those too!). Without any further ado, let's look at the pics of the cards I've had arrive in the last few weeks:

Fantastic deal with Trekrun; he let me know that he had these three off the top of his head, and was willing to move them to welcome me back to the hobby after a few years away. Outstanding guy, and definitely deserves to lead off this Show & Tell!!

Love this set. There were a few of them on eBay, but this one was pretty cheap so I'm glad I got it!

Love me some Between the Pipes. The scan doesn't do it justice, but there's a great bit of stitching at the top of this swatch.

I think that the 2013-14 BTP is my favourite set of all time. I think they all look amazing!!

Picked this up from someone on a Detroit Red Wings trading card group on Facebook. Great deal, and so glad I ended up with it!

This was from member MattDMC that I met in the same Facebook group. Not often you an get a patch card /3 with Sawchuk, so I'm glad we could work out a deal!

While this card is a Ruby-stamped Vault 1/1, the original card was already a Gold 1/1.

This one came from Germany -- the seller shipped it the day after I paid, but it took 4 weeks to get here! Gotta love Canada Post sometimes, hey??

I wasn't paying attention when I bid on this one -- I thought I was getting an upgrade to my existing Full Gear Silver /9. It wasn't until I got it in my hand that I realized it was the Gold 1/1!! Oops. :p

Just grabbed one more off eBay this morning thanks to Sedinfan from here -- he knew I was looking for a 2013-14 Lord Stanley's Mug Cup Holders Triple Gold, and he pointed one out that had just been listed. Put in a "Best Offer" and got accepted just now, so I'm down to only needing 68 cards on the want list! Thanks again, Dave!!!

Wow amazing pickups! Always nice to get a surprise with a 1/1 when you thought it was the regular copy!

I like this post very much! Well done with all the new Osgood's, Mike! Patches, Nameplates, 1/1's, this post has it all! Congrats on all your new additions. These cards look great!
 
Thanks to everyone for the comments. After taking a break from the hobby, there have been a lot to chase, and a few that will be very hard to track down now 1-2 years after they were released. Still, it's fun finding that card you never thought you'd get -- gotta believe right? (the mantra of every Player collector, I'm sure lol).

But why did Stevie-Y sign half of his signature on his own face on the Dual Patches card from The Cup, it indeed looks a quite strange I think.....
 
love the Hasek Ozzy renditions! and how pretty is that octograph?! nice additions to your pc, and thank you for sharing!
 
So much good stuff in this show, great job! Those 6+ player cards can be really tough with so many player collectors to compete with, and you found several of them nicely done! Really like the Signature Renditions, one of the nicest looking autographed card designs I've seen with beautiful gold ink autos!

Glad you landed the Mug triple gold, looking forward to seeing it next month's show :)
 
Thanks again to everyone for the kind words. Great to be back after a layoff where I was working to make sure I could acquire everything I got here ;)

Also got into buying Game Worn jerseys; it amazes me still that I can often get a game worn jersey -- complete with shield -- often for less than a shield card. lol Have picked up 12 Osgoods so far, including his rookie away jersey from 1993-94, and his 1996 All Star Game jersey (only 4 were made, and one was cut up for All Star cards by ITG. Chris has one, his dad has one, and I have the other). Always looking for more; maybe will see if I can track an Islanders one down one of these days.....? :)
