a peculiar ebay situation ....

won an auction for a dion phaneuf 07/08 spx winning materials /99 with a nice 3 colour patch, since im doing the set ....

a package arrives from the seller all quick and stuff so everything good, until i notice they shipped me the wrong card, i got the /25 auto version with a nicer patch than the original card

now id be loving life if i was a phaneuf collector but this isnt the card i want/need so its a bummer of sorts

i have messaged him twice about this with no reply, am I in the right to hit him with a negative? (i also mentioned in the last message i would rather not neg him but would like a response/conclusion)

just my 2-cents but did the posting of the card on e-bay say the wrong card and did he mislead you??
or did you read the posting wrong?

and anyways a reply from the seller would also be nice....

I guess it all depends on the length of time involved. If your two messages were sent over a two week period or something I would think that was adequate, if it was only two days, I would wait awhile before the negative. If by then you get no response the negative will be justified.

Also remember you are around a long weekend and many people may not have access to their email. I'd give it a bit more time.

good point habs, the messages have been a cpl weeks apart as I understand that we all have "real life" obligations, but alas no response ...
