Verified Trader,
just thought I would share my very positive experience with ebay customer service
over the last few weeks there have been a very steady flow of listing promotions coming to me. ive taken advantage of most of them, and I had a nother one for 1000 items listed by end of today.
I have a few hundred set up in turbo listener, and feeling lazy last night, didn't relist. I listed this evening with a 5 day close (trying Saturday instead of my usual Sunday), and for those of you unfamiliar with turbo lister, I get a total for the postings prior to any ebay promotions, then when you confirm, it lists each item and you are given a grand total.
mine is usually 0 as I do my 50 free per month, plus any other freebie along the way.
This time the total came to 71.70.....sigh rather a lot considering lots of my items are $2-3.
checked the promotion a little more carefully and it was only good for 30 day listings or good until cancelled.....argh!
decided id give ebay a call, and roll the dice. spoke to the first level admin who after taking the data passed me on to "sales".
3 minute conversation with this person and all fees waved with a very gentle suggestion to read the terms and conditions of each promotion a little more carefully.
I thanked them and moved on
2 keys from my end, I told them up front it was my fault for not reading the promotion, I assumed what it was. Second, I was very polite and just asked what they could do. Honestly my expectations were 0.
Regardless, that's my happy ebay story. I figure good things are always worth sharing
