A question about SPA

I apologize if this has already been discussed, but IF the SPA product is available at the Expo, what do you think would be a box price? Has it been announced?

Also, I would expect prices to be less discounted than usual, but I could be misinformed there to. Has the brink 'n mortor only rule taken affect yet?

Further info:

Distributor's can sell to 'Brick and Mortar' only.

As a 'Brick and Mortar' store, no pre sales on anything anywhere and no more than 50% of product can go online...sealed and after the release date that is. If a 'Brick and Mortar' store does a presell on-line and gets caught, they could very well lose their contract, period... :(

The info is two pages long and they (UD) look pretty serious on it

Actual wording on the agerement is:

"d.) it does not and will not presell any Product (by the box, case or unit of measure larger than a case) on any Internet AUCTION site; and

e.) it does not and will not SELL or offer for sale any Product by the case (or unit of measure larger than a case) on any Internet AUCTION site."
 
Best bet is get some at the Expo.
Some idiot will sell it for slightly more than their cost :eek: .....THEY ALWAYS DO AT THAT SHOW! :eek:

That's why I love it. Nothing beats a room with so many dealers and obviously quite a few of them that despise eachother. WIN WIN for the buyers.
 
2 other guys and I are splitting a case of these stuff just before the expo

and we guessing about the price today, and i know what Grosnor(sp) is charging for a box (not going to post it here because i dont know if i am allowed or not), so we are guessing about 135 a box, that is if you are buy a case

expect anywhere from 145 - 155 a box depending on where you go, i already got a lot of words that this product is going to sky rocket soon after release

so the best time to get them is the day of release

You might want to re-consider the case.......check out the box break on beckett.com........Where's the GUARANTEED "WAVE 2" AUTO RC??? :eek: .........Looks like JUNK AGAIN to me! :eek:

Whatever your issue is, add the 6% GST, then add aprrox $2.00 CDN....THAT's what you'll pay at the Expo.

the break on beckett is still better than 95% of the break from last year, i believe that they got a pretty good dual from the box (Lindstrom/Salming)

lol nothing is worse than what they did last year, if it is worse, they basically kill the line

with how UD loaded up their products for SPGU for the first week, i hope that the trend will continue
 
Honestly, I'm just a small time hobbyist whom is considering doing this year's SPA set. It seems potentially achievable since I can sell off last years inserts to help pick up this years cards that I'll not have from the true 07 set.

Wow, that price is higher than I thought, but it is SPA. Thanks for giving me a gauge anyway.

Gotta rethink my set of choice this year ;)

Hello.

We've been told pretty much the same. It's goin' to come out at the pre-order price, and then it's going to take a drastic jump in price. We bumped up our pre-order number by takin' another case. We'll take the gamble. Anything will be better than last year's SPA........that stuff was a swift kick in the junk :(

Oh yeah, the official release date should be 05/02/07. In time for the Expo weekend.
