Bure, Bure, Bure, Bure!!! ,
Hi Guys,
Been a while since I've shared any of my pick-ups with you, today seemed as good a day as any to fire up the scanner... Day Off + Rain = Scanning Time!
Apologies in advance but there's a few different sports in this thread...
I'll start off with some more RC's of these guys:

Yes, it's the Super Bowl XX winning Chicago Bears... I'm aiming for a RC of the starting Bears line-up, so here we go...

Steve "Mungo" McMichael
Dan "Danimal" Hampton
"Mama's Boy" Otis Wilson
Leslie Frazier - Fraziers career was cut short due to knee injury sustained returning a punt in Super Bowl XX
Wilber Marshall
Mike Richardson

Jim Covert
Mark Bortz
Tom Thayer
Matt Suhey
Maury Buford... as a San Diego Charger.
So with these additions and the ones shown in an earlier thread, I'm down to needing just 1 rookie card to complete my project... that card is of course, of none other than "Sweetness" Walter Payton.

Next up some baseball, well more precisely some Seattle Mariners pick-ups, for me the last year was a fun time to be a M's fan, even missing the playoffs by just 1 win didn't take the shine off of what was a much improved season.
First up a 2014 Topps Mariners Team Set (another project of mine is to collect a Mariners Topps set from every year they've been in existence) This is only the second set that I've picked up, can't rush these things...

Next a whole bunch of Mariners cards, the majority of these came from Kevin and Gordon (kmitchel and Shaboobala) so a HUGE THANK YOU to both of them, they went straight into my Baseball binder.

Now a bunch of James Paxton pick-ups, these came from either Kev, Gordon or COMC. I think this guy has a good future ahead of him, and he'll hopefully get better and better.. with Seattle of course.

The Topps cards are my favourites and Lola approves of them to, guess it must be the colours. There are a bunch more colours that I don't have.
Finally on to the Hockey section.... :goal:
I'll start by showing my Mike Richards Team Canada pick-ups:
2010-11 BLACK DIAMOND TEAM CANADA DIE-CUTS #TC-MR

2013-14 UPPER DECK TEAM CANADA #166

2013-14 UPPER DECK TEAM CANADA EXCLUSIVES

2013-14 UPPER DECK TEAM CANADA SPECIAL EDITION #SE23

2013-14 UPPER DECK TEAM CANADA SPECIAL EDITION GOLD DIE-CUT

2013-14 UPPER DECK TEAM CANADA CLEAR CUT PROGRAMME OF EXCELLENCE #CCPOE16

2011-12 SPGU SIGNIFICANCE #SIG-MR

2012-13 SPGU TEAM CANADA FABRICS #TC-26

2012-13 SPGU TEAM CANADA FABRICS 20/25 #TC-26

How about some ink?
SPA Future Watch:

Panini Zenith Yours Truly:

UD Signatures:

Next a couple of different Game Used Memorabilia cards, didn't have anything like these in my collection, so I snagged them, by strange coincidence they are both numbered 33/50!
Prime Skates:

Prime Gloves:

A solitary addition to my Mike Richards Prizm project (still need a Red and a Gold, for a non 1/1 Rainbow)
I love this set, it's probably my favourite, and I'm sorry to see Panini out of the Hockey market.
Base Prizm:

It's not often that a Pelle Lindbergh memorabilia card falls within my budget, but this one did so I'm very happy to have it...
ITG Decades Cup Clashes:

Some of you may know that the Kamloops Blazers are my favourite Junior Hockey team, it's been a while since I've added anything to my small Blazer PC, but here are a couple of additions.
First up (inspired by Brian (Itsonlycardboard), is a Tim Hortons TimCard:

and we also have a purchase from Trev (Fritz)..
a very nice Cole Cheveldave patch card, the "A" is from Blazers on the jersey:

and finally (if anyone has made it this far) we have my Pavel Bure PC additions...
Now I mainly focus my collecting on Pre-Retirement cards, this does of course mean that I can miss out on some pretty neat stuff like the Prime Skate and Prime Glove cards (that's one of the reasons why I buy the odd Mike Richards item) So this card is an exception to my collecting rule:
I just liked the concept,
Panini Playbook Then & Now:

Next an Uncut 5x7 Zenith Dare to Tear:

A shiny eBay pick-up:

Another eBay purchase from a seller in Russia. I really like the stick piece in this one..

and finally a card sent to me by Steve (Quincy), thanks again.
It's shiny and #10/30

Thanks to anyone who made it this far. Comments are welcome and appreciated but not expected.
Take care.
