This is a serious question. I am NOT spamming for my auctions. If I were, I would post my better ones. And I seriously doubt any of you would bid on these anyway.

What do you think of the item descriptions? Usually, peoples' descriptions are bland, but I like to jazz them up a bit. The discussion part is: do you think someone would be more likely or less likely to bid on an auction with a mildly humorous item description? What if it playfully ripped on the player pictured on the card?

I guess the sell prices will dictate whether or not this was a good idea, but I am interested in your input...

Well from my experiences with Ebay is that most buyers DO NOT read the whole description. I personally keep mine short and sweet...just a description of the card and then the shipping price. Instead of writing a lot I try to make it look more appealing by adding different colours and fonts. I used to write a lot in my description or write specific directions but in the end most buyers would not have even read what I put down. I don't think the description will hamper the sale but I also do not think it will help boost the ending price.

All that said, I found that to be funny! It certainly makes browsing auctions a lot more fun!

Just so you know... That 1991/92 UD Derian Hatcher card is NOT a rookie. His rookie was from 1990/91 Upper Deck #359.

I am an idiot. I have cracked so much of both 90-91 and 91-92 that it should have dawned on me.

Oh well.

I love the item descriptions. I was laughing my @$$ off. Great job. I don't know if it will help sales, but it makes checking out your auctions fun. Mike
