I'm, glad someone else said it. I hate to see the way it's going but MMA is becoming nothing more than classic rasslin' gimmickry and scripted promotion. I thought maybe just maybe it could stay somewhat pure, unfortunately the money involved has turned it into part of the big marketing machine focused on style rather than substance.

that is a great move by Dana. bringing him in will provide more recognition to tuf and will provide a chance to either dismiss or prove kimbo's ability as an all around fighter.

i agree in part with your thoughts. however, i think the ufc has the best crop of fighters right now (with the BIG exception of the heavyweight division). by no means are the other divisions watered down. dana white has done an excellent job promoting mma to where it is at now.

They aren't watered down, but they have on occasion watered down events. At least in my opinion.

Still I like some things the UFC is doing. Sexyama is a good start. It would be cool if they cold sign Kid, and of course Fedor. I also think they should give Allistar Overeem a contract, but thats just me.

Jose Canseco should join TUF.
 
Dana's always said that the only way Kimbo could fight in the UFC is if he came through TUF; and Kimbo's now taken him up on the offer. Should be interesting. I wonder how long into his first bout until he's submitted or knocked the hell out. Who wants to take wagers when the season starts?

I also would love to see Kid fight in North America, maybe a fight against Urijah, or Mike Brown, that would be solid.
 
I'm willing to bet Kimbo lasts 2 shows. Only because they will have the fights to get into the house over 2 episodes, Thats right....I don't think Kimbo gets in.

Not this season. They're going with just heavyweights; and only 16 so everybody is already in. It's going to be like the older seasons in that sense.
