Hi all, I finally jumped aboard this year's BTP bandwagon and picked up two boxes with extremely different results. Here's the first box that I opened:

Masked Men II Chris Carrozzi
Nothing to complain about here. I do like it that ITG takes the time to come up with non auto of GU inserts. It seems like every year I pull a Carrozzi Mask. The Favell is particularly cool so it's headed to the PC.

Nothing too great here. According to Wikipedia, Desjardins' nickname is "Cedrick the Entertainer". Maybe a sitcom with Steve Harvey is in his future. Moving on to the GU.

GU Jersey Silver Marc Andre Fleury
So, these are the big hits of the box. Pretty disappointing in my opinion. Although the Fleury is a white swatch, there's a nice big seam in it. And the Quick is nice for an up and coming goalie, but Mike Murphy haunts my BTP breaks.
So that box was pretty much a dud. Other than the Favel Mask, all the cards are available. Was the second box an improvement? Would I have made a thread if it wasn't?

That's a better start. The Fuhr Mask is sweet and a PC addition. Plus I was really hoping to pull a Net Brawlers, so I'm pleased with these inserts.

Not much to say here. Zemlak is a pretty cool name though, so he's got that going for him.
After that, the box starting going nuts. It was so great that it deserves a 3 star selection.

The Rival League Goaliegraph Don "Smokey" McLeod
While this card seems to be pretty common, I was still stoked to pull it. I'm a huge fan of the WHA and this was one card that I was hoping to pull. Love it when that happens!
SECOND STAR
Stick Save Martin Brodeur GU Stick /9
Stick cards are awesome, especially when they look this good and are from the winningest goalie of all time. ITG did a great job on these cards and I am thrilled to have this in my PC. When I pulled it half way through the box, I was so happy that my second box wasn't a dud too. But, it wasn't done...

As Pierre McGuire might say, "Welcome to the Marty Brodeur Show". Damn this card is nice. Only the second Brodeur auto in my collection. Everything about this card is done right. Thanks Dr. Price!
