A “What If” Celebration Banner

Went to a local card show today and bought this 3x5’ banner. For those of you unfamiliar with Calgary Flames history, they have only won the Stanley Cup once. The 2004 Cup final between Calgary and Tampa Bay went to 7 games. This appears to be a legitimate product, with all of the authentic symbols present. The Flames were prepared to celebrate a different outcome to game 7.

It is a really neat item. Makes you wonder how much championship merchandise from the losing team might be sitting in storage somewhere.

I had another collector at the show tell me that merchandise from the losing team is sent to Africa. (I think it was suggested that it was through charities.)
