As Brian/Langway05 eluded to a few weeks ago, the bi-weekly Acadia show is complete CRAP these days. The dealers far outnumber the buyers. Hopefully things pick up once the weather starts to worsen and people start to think more about hockey.
Anyhooo...with all the extra time I was able to work the floor a little more than usual and managed to pick up some nice trade/sell bait for the expo. I thought I'd share it with y'all.
First off, I opened 2 more boxes of Artifacts. Nothing special but a Sens fan's semi-wet dream...
As for the trades, there were three in total. First one I gave up a very nice Ultimate Matthew Lombardi auto/emblem and a Leopold BAP All-Star RC that netted me the two Staal cards, the Ruutu auto and the Palmateer auto below. I understand that Palmateer fella is popular out East and these Between The Pipes autos are tough to come by.
The next trade I handed over some Canucks stuff from Artifacts that brought the Fuhr/Hall auto my way. It's numbered to 25, beautiful card, I've actually had my eye on this one for awhile. Thanks to my buddy Randy for this trade.
Finally I dumped a shoebox full of smaller jerseys and rookies to another dealer from Edmonton (Tim) that netted me the rest. He got the better deal guide-wise and I got to reduce the number of boxes I need to carry around with me in the future, a win-win deal.
Everything is available but more than likely I'll be packing it away this week and bringing it to Toronto with me. Thanks for the read and if there is anything you're interested in PM me right away. I'm looking for shiny objects and/or really rare Flames parallels and/or autos.
