Have not been opening much lately, but opened Superlative and Dominion tonight. Dominion was not too good but Superlative did nicely with two 1 of 1 items.

Superlative lives up to it's name,as usual.but that box of Dominion is scary,in an awful way.i would not be pleased with that as a "hand packed" product.

what are the two 1/1 items in Superlative? my monitor is not letting me see the colors to tell if it is silver or gold

congrats

and sweet Keon!

The Brett Hull patch is an Onyx 1/1, and the Raised to the Rafters Hull is a gold 1/1.

I'm shocked with the Dominion tin, I have never seen a tin with that weak of a rookie selection and 3 base GU and did not include a big case type hit. You got robbed on that one.

Quite sure I would get a lifetime ban to this forum if describing exactly how I feel about "highend" product called Dominion. Left out from the scan was a redemption rag auto, but it would not have made the break that much sweeter.

Thanks for the comments on Superlative though!

Thx,
Harri

that makes sense

usually I'd rejoice at seeing those cards pulled out of dominion, knowing an absolute monster is coming. Sad to see that that wasn't the case. What player was the redemption tag of?

sick superlative break though

Yea that Dominion break was the worst one I've seen to date, get your money back from Panini. The Superlative was very nice though, sweet Hasek!

I'd say that dominion box must be tampered with, I've never seen any dominion box this year or last year that bad, ever.

I opened 1 box of dominion this year my "hit" was a 1 color peerless patch of Matt read. Judging from eBay and other places I wasn't alone in getting 1 color peerless patches. I was blown away by how bad my box was.

Really surprised me about the peerless patches as last year it was a subset with some of dominions most exciting cards. But as it seems to be a trend with panini they upped the print run which watered down some of the uniqueness of those patches.

They did add the hard signed autograph to the Peerless Patches which is a nice touch, and something the collectors talked about last year that would make the set even more impressive. They did listen and tried to up the collectibility and value on them so can't really fault them. 1 color patches are to be expected in every product, no matter how expensive it is. We see plenty of 1 color patches in The Cup and Exquisite too, and those are way more expensive per pack then Dominion.

What was the Ranger auto? Tins with 3 GUJ #/100 typically have a pretty decent hit in them. A Messier auto redemption, for example, would improve that tin quite a bit. A redemption for a #/99 RAP would explain a lot, too. More info on the missing card would help...

The Superlative was...well, superlative. Congrats!
