Haven't had much time for collecting in the recent months, with moving trucks and all sorts of things to take care off. Here is what I have come across in AHL cards since the last time (no IHL in this thread).
1998-99 Portland Pirates - Split Second (AHL)
(Dan Cleary)
This was Daniel Cleary's first full professional season, splitting time between the Hamilton Bulldogs, Portland Pirates and Chicago Blackhawks. Not sure if he has officially retired, but I think he is getting close? Last season saw him playing 35 games for the Grand Rapids Griffins after 938 NHL regular season games.

1999-00 Portland Pirates - Split Second (AHL)

Matt Herr I already had from one of the Pirates sets, but that one had him wearing a "blurred-out" Capitals jersey. I guess they couldn't get a picture of him with the Pirates for that set?
Needed: Glen Metropolit.
2000-01 Portland Pirates - Choice Marketing (AHL)
(Krys Barch)
Barch is currently listed as the "Skating and Skills Coach" for the Buffalo Sabres. He finished his playing career with the Florida Panthers after the 2013-14 season.
Needed: Glen Metropolit, Matt Pettinger.
2003-04 Milwaukee Admirals - Pepsi (AHL)
(Tony Hrkac, Curtis Murphy, Wyatt Smith)
I witnessed Tony Hrkac making a comeback (twice!) with Houston Aeros. He had been retired and coaching for several seasons when he decided to lace them up once more with the Aeros in 2008-09, helping them very near to the Calder Cup. In 2009-10 he attempted a comeback again, but that was not as fruitful as the first time around. Hrkac is currently scouting for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Needed: Jay Henderson.
2003-04 San Antonio Rampage (AHL)

This was Shvidki's final North American season. He finished his playing career about ten years later after the 2013-14 season playing in the lower Russian leagues.
Needed: Lee Goren, Travis Scott.
2004-05 Hershey Bears - The Patriot-News (AHL)
(John Boychuk, Carl Corazzini, Mathieu Darche, Cody McCormick, Jamie Rivers)
2004-05 was Boychuk's first professional season. Love the "crazed" looked on his face.
Needed: Jeff Ulmer.
2004-05 Portland Pirates - U.S. Cellular (AHL)
(Darcy Verot)
Verot has 787 penalty minutes in only 98 KHL games! I guess that makes his role quite clear? To top that he also played a season in the top Russian league before KHL existed. He got 508 penalty minutes in only 43 games.

2004-05 San Antonio Rampage - Heroes & Fantasies (AHL)
(Kamil Kreps, Chris Nielsen, Serge Payer)
Kamil Kreps is the last active player of these three guys. He is playing for the Trinec Ocelari in his native Czech Republic.
Needed: Patrick DesRochers, Rob Globke, Greg Jacina, Travis Scott.
2005-06 Hershey Bears - The Patriot News (AHL)

Another player who I've seen live in action. Fussey played for the Coventry Blaze of the British Elite Ice Hockey League (EIHL) at the time.
Needed: Colin Forbes, J.F. Fortin.
2006-07 Bridgeport Sound Tigers - Choice Marketing (AHL)

Already a second copy of this card, but I need one for my general player collection and another one for my Finnish player collection.
These are very hard to come by, given away as a perforated strip.

2006-07 Hamilton Bulldogs Calder Cup Set - Extreme Sports (AHL)

The Bulldogs released two sets during this season, this one was obviously released after they had won the Calder Cup. Philippe Sauve only ever made it to 6 regular season games and did not appear in the playoffs. Carey Price played in all 22 of them, with Yann Danis replacing him in one of them.

2007-08 Springfield Falcons - Choice Marketing (AHL)

Still only 31, Jacques has just started his first season in Germany after a few seasons in Austria.

2008-09 Hartford Wolf Pack - Kids Club (AHL)

I've sort of resigned to the fact that I will never get all the Wolf Pack cards I need. Doing quite well with this season, but still plenty of wants from the earlier years.
Needed: Brian Fahey, Chris Murray, Dale Weise.
2008-09 Rochester Americans - Choice Marketing (AHL)

Sprukts has mainly spent his time in the KHL after leaving NA, but might have retired now after only appearing in 12 games last season in the Slovakian league.
Needed: Chris Beckford-Tseu, Doug O'Brien.
2009-10 Manchester Monarchs - Choice Marketing (AHL)
(Brandon Segal)
Segal played nearly 700 AHL games before heading over to Europe. Currently playing in Germany.
Needed: None.
2010-11 Hershey Bears - The Patriot News (AHL)
(Phil Oreskovic)
Oreskovic retired after the 2014-15 season, having spent most of his final four seasons in the ECHL.
Needed: Brian Fahey.
2011-12 Rockford IceHogs - Choice Marketing (AHL)

Salak never really made it to the NHL level, but he has played in both the AHL and the KHL All-Star game.
Needed: None.
2016 Providence Reds 1955-56 Calder Cup Champions Commemorative Set (AHL)
(Full Set)
This is a very interesting set released by the R.I. Reds Heritage Society.
The back of the header card has the following info:
"This set of trading cards has been created by the R.I. Reds Heritage Society to honor the memory of the 1955-56 Reds hockey team that won the American Hockey League's Calder Cup Championships. The Card set was produced in 2016 which marks the 60th-year anniversary of the championships season...."
I don't in general collect players that are this old, but there are several here who have played after the big Expansion and do not have any other normal card sized issues. One such player is Ron Attwell, who has a few AHL Team Issues according to Beckett, but as far as I know these are all "oversized".
Ron played a long career in the AHL and played his only NHL games during the 1967-68 season for the Rangers and the Blues. As I don't need most of these players have loads available for trade/sale. These include few players that have never had any cardboard appearances before.
