Well, many of you know I'm a nutbar when it comes to building sets, and as of my luck would have it I pick three or four of the HARDEST sets to complete. Anyways, in this case I'm building the 04/05 UD Legendary set... the ENTIRE set... including the Summit autos, Miracle Men autos, AKAs, HOFs, Triple Linemates, etc. As of yesterday morning, I was FOUR cards away from the set... the cards in question being the Miracle Men autos of Jim Craig & Neal Broten (both SPs) and the Triple Linemates of Simmer/Taylor/Dionne and Sutter/Babych/Federko.
Last month the Broten was listed, and I set my sniper program with a value that was nearly double the book value, assuming that would be adequate enough to win it... no dice... somebody outbid me! So this past week another Broten gets listed and I get word from crankshaft (Rod) to watch it... so I set my sniper again at a HUGE amount so I can get the card, figuring I'd be paying as much as the last one... got it!!!! Now I realize this is a very expensive card, but I'm SOOOO close to completing the set that I just want to win!

Those cards are a flippin' b*tch to find these days. Kudos to you my friend, glad you're so close to your set being completed.
