I personally avoid the smaller window replicas, don't trust 'em.

I personally avoid the smaller window replicas, don't trust 'em.

The 05/06 Series 1 and 2 had different sized jersey swatches so that is why those are different. The SPGU both look to be the same size however the red swatch stands out more compared to the black one because of the window border.

As for the original example, is it possible that one is the acetate version and the other is not? I'm not 100% sure but it could be possible that the sizes differ slightly between the two.

I think the second Chara link is a bad link. I did see an example recently where the Chara jersey swatch is very, very obviously smaller.

The series one and two did have different sizes, but the Yzerman in the picture is supposed to be Series one. The Series two Yzerman has a different picture, I pulled one a while back.

Tough to say...whether the Belfour was part of some sort of Fairfield-type program, or just a miscut from the factory, you would think that there would be at least a few other live/ended auctions on similar examples, but the only other listing that I see is this one (same card/same seller), which ended (and appears to have sold) about a week ago...

I have a Belfour as well I pulled from fairfield with the small window. Does this mean UD is making more cards of ice and UD for fairfield than originally produced and they have smaller windows?

Whether they were cards that UD specifically produced for Fairfield, or just a batch of mis-cut overstock that they sold to them, I'm not sure. I posted a thread about the Yzerman's here earlier this year, and several members posted that they too had pulled copies from the Fairfield blisters, but I don't recall any information being posted about the dealings between Fairfield and UD.

I know first hand that those smaller window Yzermans are Walmart/Meijer exclusives... I saw about 10 of them hanging on the rack at the store in Detroit... thats probably what the Belfour is.
