Amazing Weekend Show Pickup!!!

So there was another show over the weekend here in Vegas. It was very small (and they seem to be getting smaller every time) but Heidi and Mark (Lucky20 here on H.I.) were able to make it over from SoCal with their wide variety of hockey goodies.

I busted a tin of 07-08 The Cup and pulled a Bourque Honorable Numbers #/77 (nice card) but it was basically a KITN tin overall. I was also able to sell a few football cards I had sitting around to one of the dealers there, so it was mostly a mediocre show...until Sunday afternoon.

Thanks to Heidi, one of the most incredible traders/dealers/sellers we have on Hobby Insider, I was able to swing a deal to pick up one of the signature pieces from 07-08 The Cup.

You may recall the photos Vegaspuck posted after The Cup packed out and shipped. There were a number of goodies in that post that anybody would be happy to acquire, but the ones that stood out most to me were the Limited Logos. There were some incredible patches shown in those photos and I have been fortunate enough to pick one up.

Without further ado, I give you my new card:

07-08 The Cup Sidney Crosby Limited Logos 1/50

This one's not going anywhere, folks, it's solidly in the PC. Thanks again to Heidi and Mark for bringing their hockey goodness to the desert. Also to Chris (Vegaspuck) for posting those photos, without them I would be defending against the barrage of "PATCH FAKER!" posts from now till doomsday.

In all reality though, amazing card. I'm sure once someone collects the other 5, they'll be going pretty hard for that card so you either stand to make quite a bit off of it, or have an amazing piece in your PC forever.

For those of you wondering about the other cards, there's one on eBay right now, but I don't have the scratch to get that one at the price he wants :|.

I'd be interested in picking up another one if anybody's got one, though!
