Have gotten a bunch of cards in lately. This post is dedicated purely to cards that are available! I am ideally wanting to sell these.

First up, these all came from a lot of Engrained cards I bought. There are base, rookies, and parallels not shown here, so if you are looking for something lower end from the set, let me know!

Next, a nice Chronology Letterman!

Next, ironically the second copy of this card I've owned. But, I couldn't pass it up for the price and since he's no longer in Chicago it's available.

And finally...

I got this card on Facebook from a guy getting out of the hobby. He pulled it last year and never promoted having it. Well, he finally put it up on Facebook asking for opinions on a value and I took a stab at a value. He agreed with the valuation. I didn't think much of it at the time, but then actually researched it and saw that only one other copy had surfaced on eBay and had sold for a substantial amount higher than what we had talked about. Having learned that, I took a shot at trying to acquire it.

I was extremely nervous because he did not have PayPal and would only accept payment through Facebook messenger or by check, which is usually a bit of a red flag. Additionally, he did not have any references, as he had only sold one card publicly before and that was years and years ago. Yet again, another red flag.

But, something just told me to go for it. I did my best to ensure he was reliable by proving he owned the card. We also agreed to split the payment half up front (after received video of it being packaged and a photo of him literally standing in line at the post office) and half upon arrival (today), which also helped to lessen the risk a bit.

Well, my risk paid off. I received the card today, and boy, is it ever a beauty. I would love to keep a card like this in my collection, but there is just no way I can justify keeping a card of this value in my collection given it isn't a must-own card for me.

Presenting for your viewing pleasure (and maybe, pretty please, for your money!)...

BAM. Easily one of the most expensive cards I've ever owned. For those curious, the one copy that has surfaced sold on eBay earlier this year for a little over $1,200 US.
